About Us

The West of England Private Housing Partnership provides information, support and resources for homeowners, private tenants and landlords.

The partnership comprises the four West of England local authorities - Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council, and South Gloucestershire Council who have worked closely with a number of other agencies and partners in gathering information for this website.

This site demonstrates a common approach to housing, property and the law for the authorities in the region, covering the following subjects

Landlords and Tenants: Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs); The Landlord Manual; The Housing Health & Safety Rating System; The Landlord Development Course; The Landlord Expo; The West of England Landlord Panel; The Private Tenant Manual.
